		<description>That was very nicely written and instructive.  I wouldn&#039;t say that Feanor was a tragic hero, or that he was a reprehensible bad guy either, but he definitely had control issues, was power crazy, and made several bad judgment calls during his lifetime.  His character reminds me of many kings, dictators and presidents in our own checkered history of this present world.  Tolkien was such a genius.</description>
