February 29, 3019 TA: Frodo Baggins and Sam Gamgee capture Gollum in the Emyn Muil, and take coerce him into leading them to the Morannon. In Fangorn Forest, Merry Brandybuck and Pippin Took encounter Treebeard the Ent.
March 1, 2931 TA: Aragorn II, son of Arathorn II, and the future King Elessar of the Reunited Kingdom of Gondor and Arnor, is born.
March 1, 3019 TA: Aragorn, Legolas Greenleaf and Gimli son of Glóin encounter the resurrected Gandalf the White in Fangorn Forest.
March 2, 3019 TA: Grimbold and his Rohirrim are defeated by Saruman’s troops at the Second Battle of the Fords of Isen.
March 3, 3019 TA: The Ents destroy all of Isengard except for Orthanc itself — the tower was built by the Dúnedain shortly after their arrival in Middle-earth, and was indestructible.
March 4, 3019 TA: The Rohirrim are victorious at the Battle of the Hornburg; Saruman’s fleeing Orcs are destroyed by Huorns.
