Excuse me, my lord, but it is actually the Sears Tower. They may say it is the Willis Tower, but they are mistaken.
Cool chart, though it would be nice if it was larger. I can’t even read any of the text except Barad-Dur.
It would be nice to include Orthanc, Minas Morgul & Minas Tirith in the chart as well.
Can I be honest? I love the LOTR movies but Barad Dur always bothered me in the movie. Why? Because although you can guess its size and height by looking at the comparison with the mountains, it visually doesn’t quite feel right: the top of the tower from down below can be seen pretty much just as “clear” as the bottom, whereas it should have had a much more “foggy” look. Especially considering that the air in Mordor is anything but clear, the top of a tower standing well over a kilometer in height should have been barely visible from down below.
Actually Barad-dur is not in Mordor but Isengard
@Morgan… Fool of a Took!
@Morgan… That would be Orthanc. You are wrong.
You do know it’s all just pretend, don’t you? And not even very good pretend at that.
the end is nigh >> maybe the next one will be it
